Guys does it bother you when your girlfriend calls you ';baby';?

I have been seeing this guy for 3 months now. I met him online. I have always said hey what's up baby? or Hey baby how are you? Or hey baby what are you doing? or ok baby. I started off doing it just flirting with him. He calls me baby everynow and than also. However, I do it all the time, he has never said if it bothers him or not. I just wanted to get another guys opinion on the matter though. Because the other day for some crazy reason he thought i might think i need to have a kid someday. Than my Mom called me baby tonight. I thought oh I wonder if that is why he thinks I might think I need a kid. lol. Anyways he was sick the other day and I was telling him to drink orange juice and plenty of fluids. So, maybe that is why he thought I might have a Mom gene in me and think I want to have a kid. So, than I started to wonder i wonder if he thinks I am treating him like a kid by calling him baby. I don't think it would offend, I do that too... but it can probably be overused...
I call my man baby all the time. He says he doesn't mind it, it's an affectionate title.
Okay, I'm not a guy and I'm definetely not a lesbian, so I've never even had a girlfriend, but, don't you think you should be asking him all this?
